I can hardly imagine the dilemma MAGA devotees are facing, torn between two allegiances and which one is the more insane. And yet all of this was predictable, because MAGA is an opportunistic alliance based on contradictory ideas and policies between a vanishing working class stranded in an imagined glorious past, isolationist nativists, and billionaire tech barons obsessed with power and greed who pretend to believe the bullshit of ideologues, led by a pathological narcissist.
