A Kentucky judge has taken to ordering derelict dads who are thousands of dollars behind on child support two choices: vasectomy or jail. Family Court Judge D. Michael Foellger has delivered this ultimatum to six or seven men who fathered more than four children with at least three different women each, and who owed more than $10,000 in court-ordered support. "I don't think these men deserve to have any more children," said Foellger. None of the men have appealed and only one chose jail time. However, the American Civil Liberties Union said suggesting surgery is too much. "We're opposed to any type of sterilization that's forced or coerced by any government agency," said Kentucky ACLU's executive director.»
