This is partly attributable to their low education and has also been associated with poorer outcomes for their children».
E não se trata de um problema do passado porque «recent migrants from Portugal are predominantly low-educated and employed in medium and low-skilled occupations. They also face rather high unemployment. In contrast, migrants from Germany and from EEA countries other than Germany, Portugal and Italy are mainly highly-educated and find themselves overrepresented in highly-skilled».
